David A. Bailey, 50, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2018 after a long illness . He was born on August 28, 1967 in Barberton, OH. David was a graduate of Kent State and was an educator for several years. He was a roller coaster enthusiast belonging to ACE, had a great sense of humor, and a positive outlook on life.
David is survived by his parents, Allen and Norma Bailey; sister, Dawn (Ryan) Utz; nieces, Brooke (Jonathan) Wheeler and Brianna (Tyler) Davies; friend and caregiver, Jim Legge; and other friends.
Visitation will take place from 4-6pm on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, followed by funeral service at 6pm. Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating. Private interment at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, N. Canton.
