David B. Stewart
David B. Stewart, 65, of Akron, passed away March 31, 2013. David Was born June 4, 1947 in Sutton, West Virginia. He served in the National Guard and retired from Ken Tool Manufacturing. For over 20 years he served as president of Local 4483.
David was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Stewart and stepfather, Donald Witzke. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Carolyn; sons, Gary (Angela) and Scott (Teresa); mother, Ruby Witzke; brother, Dan (Grace); stepmother, Virginia Stewart; three Stepsiblings; grandchildren, Amanda, Josh, Daniell, and Christopher; three great-grandchildren.
Special family friend Jerry Thomas shared this message with David's family: "It has been a hard day to have to say goodbye to a friend, father figure, excellent story teller, machinist, car lover, and wonderful example of a true human being. I will miss you Dave xo!! R.I.P. David Stewart. Papa went home :(."
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
