Daryl Lindy Klingensmith

Daryl Lindy Klingensmith, 65, of Tallmadge, went home to be with the Lord on November 30, 2016. He was born in Kittanning, PA on September 16, 1951. He retired from Windstream after 46 years of service. Daryl was an avid hunter, and a youth football coach for many years.

He was also a member of Eastwood Church of the Brethren and played softball for the church. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Lindy Klingensmith.

Daryl leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 45 years, Patti "Sam" Klingensmith; children, Michele (Vincent) Dilick, Scot Klingensmith, Dara (Ric) Law, and Kendra (Jake) Lebarre; 12 grandchildren; mother, Alice Klingensmith; brothers, Mark and Terry Klingensmith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday December 5, 2015 from 3-5pm with the funeral service starting at 5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Paul Markland and Pastor Paul Bozman officiating. Per the request of the family, please come dressed in camo in honor of Daryl.
