Darrell's interests included golfing with his friends from the American Legion Post 281 and fishing with Larry McCoy, Tony Bittner, and David Bittner. He had a love for animals and will be sadly missed by his dog, Buffy Marie.
A family memorial service with military honors will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Cuyahoga Falls, on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. Per his request, Darrell's ashes will be scattered at his family's reservation in Alderville First Nation, Ontario, where his memorial will take place.
