Darlene Maud Keith

Darlene Maud Keith, 85, of Uniontown, Ohio passed away on July 14, 2026 in her home surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was born in Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1940. She resided in the Akron area all of her adult life. She worked at Merryweather Foam and Latex Company and Coastal Tanklines, Inc.

She (and her husband) were members of the Grace United Church of Christ in Uniontown. She cherished her family and friends. Darlene loved to travel and going to garage sales. She was a very talented seamstress and crotcheter; creating afghans, bears and bear clothes, dolls and doll clothes, hats for premature babies and many other treasures.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mary Guthrie, her husband of nearly 50 years Fay R. Keith, her son Richard Mcmillen and her bonus daughter Karolyn Keith Christley.

She is survived by her bonus children and their spouses: C. Diane Schlapkohl (James), Duane Keith (Gwen), Kevin Keith (Ellen), Brian Keith (Caren), and Sharon Taylor (James). Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Private graveside services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park at 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 and will be officiated by Chaplin Terry Arnold. To leave a special message for Darlene's family, please visit the guest book below.
