Danny Leroy Manes

Danny Manes, age 67, of Stow, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024 at Arbors at Stow. He was born on October 8, 1957 in Akron, Ohio.

Danny worked as a Union Roofer for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed being in nature and hunting in his free time.

Danny is survived by his one and only son, David Recklaw; loving daughters, Rachel and Danielle Manes; two step-children, Mandy (Kevin) Dawes of Russellville, KY and Mitchell Shivley also of Russellville, KY; sister, Mary (Virgil) Pickrell and other siblings; grandchildren, Kali (Steven), Gavin, Cheyenne, Xander, David, Salih, Lilly, D Jr., Tegan, Mattie, Emery, Aubrey and JJ; and great-grandchildren, Stella and Nikki.

He was preceded in death by his best friend and the love of his life, Rose Shivley; as well as his mom, Leda.

Per Danny's wishes, cremation has taken place and there is no formal service at this time as he would say, "See ya later."
