Cynthia Kaye Tyson

Cynthia Kaye Tyson, age 68, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at her home.

She was born in Akron on November 5, 1957 to the late Arvil and Agnes Tyson. Cindy lived all of her life in the Akron area.

She was a Nurse for Akron General Medical Center for 24 years of dedicated service. After her career at the Hospital Cindy worked as a Traveling Nurse caring for many folks who needed a caregiver - eventually retiring from Pinnacle Nursing Facility. Cindy was devoted to the people she served.

Cindy enjoyed gardening, but her happiest times were spent at the ocean.

Cindy is survived by her loving friends, Teresa Pierce, Sherry, and Beth.

Cindy's life will be celebrated at a later date.
