Cynthia Jane Thompson, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 14, 2014. Cindy was born May 17, 1980 to Karen Thompson and the late Larry Thompson. She lived most of her life in Munroe Falls and attended Stow-Munroe Falls High School. Cindy very much loved her daughters, Josselyn Moon and Aubreonna Rayne Thompson. She was a good mom who especially enjoyed dressing up her girls from headband to shoes. Cindy saw the good in people and often helped friends in need.
Cindy is survived by her fiance, William "Bill" Swanson, his parents, Kathy and Gene Swanson, and his son, Alex; her mother, Karen Thompson; brothers, Michael (Valerie Stoehr) Thompson and Jason Thompson; beloved nieces, Jessica Thompson and Lexi Peters; beloved nephew, Hunter Thompson. She is also survived by her Aunt Patty and Uncle Ed Vargo and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilbert and Dessie Schomer and Ambrose and Nina Thompson.
Visitation will be Thursday March 20 from 11:30-1:30 followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Newcomer Funeral Home.
