Curtis Nixon

February 9, 1960 — April 2, 2015

Curtis Nixon, 55, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2015. He was born in Akron on February 9, 1960 to the late Malachi and Fannie. Curtis was a loving, kind, considerate person. He never had an enemy. Curtis loved to give hugs and kisses and he would help anyone in need. He had a deep love for his family. He had a special relationship with his sister Rita and brother John. He enjoyed going to church, listening to music, and praying. Curtis worked at the Bath Center for many years and finished his employment at the Southern Center of Summit County. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by four brothers, Robert and William of Midland, PA. and John and Charles Nixon of Akron; extended family, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 10-11 followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Vincent Taylor officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Curtis and sent to Newcomer Funeral Home
