Cody Townsend, 22, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2015. He was born in Akron, OH, to parents Daniel and Melissa Townsend. Cody was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a kind, caring and compassionate soul who was always willing to help others. His smile could light up a room. He was a very fun, loving, outgoing young man. He will be remembered for being a great father, having a big heart, possessing fierce loyalty, giving the best hugs, and loving his family. Cody never ended a conversation without saying "I love you."
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 10-12noon with the service immediately following at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church 578 Killian Rd. Akron, OH, 44319. Pastor Brenda Young officiating. Interment E. Liberty Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to https://www.gofundme.com/vnfk8eac.
