Clyde Julian Helms
Clyde Julian Helms, 74, of Akron, passed away March 10, 2010. Clyde was born July 25, 1935 in DeKalb Co., Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fran Helms; sons, Jerry Helms and Charles Daniels; and friend, Brenda Knight. He is survived by his children, Kathy McAbee, Ronnie Smith, Greg Ray, and Gina Harbison; many siblings; eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 10-12 followed by a 12 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
