Cloy Clark Ebersole, 29, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2017. Cloy was born and raised in Goodyear Heights and excelled in basketball, baseball and bowling. His greatest joy in life was his daughter and he was also a loving uncle and brother. Cloy will be missed for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was always there to help a friend and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Cloy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Debora Ebersole, and grandparents, Lois and Charles Ebersole, and Howard and Helen Davis.
He is survived by his daughter, Jozlynn Ebersole; sisters, Teri Roch, Traci (Robert) Connolly and Lori Ebersole; brothers, Jed (Lauren) Ebersole, and Bobby (Amanda) Ebersole; nieces, Kelly Jewell, Ashley Crossland, Nikki Ebersole, Amanda Welty, Makenzie Welty; nephews, James Nissel, Cory Crossland, Aron Crossland, Tony Michaelis, Josh Ebersole, Alex Ebersole, Zach Welty and J.R. Ebersole.
Visitation will be held from 1 pm until time of memorial service at 3 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to IBH Addiction Recovery Center to help the ones trying to get better, 3445 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44319.
