Cletus Wellington Barnhart, 87, of Clinton, passed away on July 7, 2015. Cletus was born in Parkersburg, WV on March 16, 1928 to the late Henry and Edith Barnhart. He was raised by the late Carl and Goldie Wright.
Cletus served in the U.S. Army and retired from BF Goodrich after over 38 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Cletus was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Barnhart and twelve siblings. He will be deeply missed by his children, Robert (Karen) Barnhart, Russell (Donna) Barnhart, Randy (Angie) Barnhart, Sandie Minor, and Craig Barnhart; sisters, Ora Belle and Garnet; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler, Ryan, Cory (Stephanie), and Amber Barnhart, Hannah (Dantrell) Hunt, Christina and Joseph Cianciola, Haleigh and Chase Minor; great-grandchildren, Liam, Ryan, Kinley, and Brayden.
A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
