He was married to the love of his life, Margaret “Peg” Marcum, for 62 wonderful years. Together, they built a home filled with warmth and kindness.
Ted is survived by his daughter, Tara Costanzo; son, Mark (Julie) Marcum; grandchildren, Nikole (Bo) Kennedy, Thomas Marcum, Dakota (Michael) Rice, Colton (Emily) Costanzo, and Steven (Jane) Marcum; and great-grandchildren Aubrey, Robert, Everett, Avery, Marshall, Casen, and Bennett. He is also survived by his sisters Juanita Fluty, Anita Botzer, Beulah (Jerry) O’Connor; sister-in-law Diane Marcum; and many nieces and nephews.

Ted worked at McNeil Akron and later as a painter for Spoonster (Terry) Painting and Dave Long. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, he was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Ted loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent at his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was an avid fan of Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball, Cleveland Guardians (always called them Indians) baseball, and enjoyed golfing, reading, and listening to bluegrass music. He had a gift for storytelling, often laughing before he could finish—and found joy in simple pleasures like watching The Andy Griffith Show and spending time with his dogs, Kilo and Bailey.
Ted’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering support for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
