Christopher T. Dowling, age 55 of Akron, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 peacefully in his sleep.
He was born on September 30, 1960 in Akron, the son of the late Brian and Mary Tucker Dowling.
Chris was also preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Dowling.
Survivors include his best friend and loving wife, the former Jill Leidel; his daughters, Carly (Chasten) Sees, and Jessica (Nathan) Bartels; his grandchildren, Chasten and Casey.
Memorial services will be held at 6 PM, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron. Family and friends may gather from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
