Christina Ann Courtney (Schweyer)

Christina Ann Courtney (Schweyer), beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into the presence of the Lord surrounded by family who adored her.

A retired Registered Nurse, Christina lived a life of compassion and service, always ready to help those in need. She was the life of the party, bringing laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. Her greatest love was her family-her sons Jeremy and Daniel, her daughter-in-law Francene, and her four grandchildren, Emylie, Isabelle, Brooklin, and Jeremy. They were her pride and joy, and she poured her whole heart into them.

Christina loved the beach, especially when the water was crystal clear. She lived by the belief that you should never judge a book by its cover, welcoming everyone with kindness and an open heart. Most of all, she loved the Lord with all her heart, and her faith was the foundation of her life.

She is survived by her mother, Marge Tidrick; her brothers Butch Schweyer (Jodi Scherer), Mike Schweyer (Kelly), Jim Dudones (Lea), and Matt Dudones (Julie); her sons Jeremy Candelaria (Francene) and Daniel Courtney; and her four grandchildren, Emylie, Isabelle, Jeremy, and Brooklin Candelaria.

Calling Hours will be held Saturday, October 4th, 3:00-4:30pm at Springfield Baptist Church, 1920 Krumroy Rd., Akron, OH 44312.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:30pm, officiated by her son, Pastor Jeremy Candelaria.

Christina will be remembered for her laughter, her love, and her unwavering faith-a legacy that will live on in her family and in the hearts of all who knew her.
