Cheryl Nicholson

Cheryl A. Nicholson, 62, went safely into the arms of Jesus on August 26, 2015. Her greatest desire was to be a wife and mother. God graciously allowed her to be the very best wife and mother possible. She cared for her family tirelessly, volunteered numerous hours at her children's schools, and was an active member of Northampton Bible Church for many years as her children grew up. In later years she attended The Chapel in North Canton. She also volunteered at the Haven of Rest for many years.
She had a joyous reunion in Heaven with her mother, Lois Nicholson. She is also preceded in death by her father, Richard Schafer. She counted among her greatest blessings those she left behind: her loving husband and childhood sweetheart, Roger Nicholson; daughter, Jenny (Jason) Head; son, Rich (Kami) Nicholson; grandbabies Nathan and Jacob Miles and Walker and Piper Nicholson; sister, Kimberly (Jim) Kozy; and brother, Jim (Diane) Nicholson. She will be dearly missed by a host of precious friends.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 31, from 4-7 p.m. at Northampton Bible Church, 333 W. Steels Corners Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joe Pryor and Pastor Jim Colledge officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St., Akron, OH, 44308.
