Cheryl Mansfield

Cheryl Mansfield, 67, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 surrounded by her family. Born in Ravenna, Ohio to Charles and Dorothy (Russell) Alestock, she was a longtime resident of Kent, Ohio. Cheryl enjoyed baking, watching cooking shows, traveling to Ireland, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Cheryl will be sadly missed by her sons, Matt (Jen) Fox, Tim (Andrea) Mansfield, Dan (Brandy) Mansfield; grandchildren, Aubrey, Kendall, Charles, Alyssa, Cora, Theo, Kinley, Hazel; step-mom, Karen Alestock; siblings, Pat (Rick) Ewell, Joe Alestock, Todd (Nicole) Alestock; several nieces, nephews and friends, including many from Home Depot.

Everyone is invited to visit Friday, April 3, 2026 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The celebration of life service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Cheryl's name to the animal rescue organization of their choice.
