Charlotte A. Magrell

Charlotte A. Magrell 74, passed away on April 20, 2016 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on December 17, 1941 in Greenbrier County, WV. She moved to the Akron area in 1953. Charlotte loved playing bingo and bowling. She also loved taking trips to Vegas and spending time with her sister in Pahrump, NV as well as taking bus trips with the Chapparells gang. Charlotte also enjoyed weekend camping trips with family to Salt Fork, and PA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Waneta Lee; step-father, Dawson Lee; father, Theo Legg; and brother, Larry Legg; aunts, uncles, and special friends Janie and Pam. She worked for the US Postal Service from1968 until she retired in 1998. After retirement, Charlotte worked 11 seasons at Firestone Country Club. She is survived by husband of 37 years, Merlin; children, James L. (Debbie) Misock III, Michelle Iseri, Kelly (Ron) West, and Greg (Elizabeth) Magrell; grandchildren, Levi, Crystal, Kourtney, Ryan, Jessica, Hannah, and Emilee; brother, Ralph (Emma) Legg; sister, Mary Howes, both of Piedmont, OH; great-granddaughters, Emmerson and Melody. Special thanks to Michelle, Mary Lou, Barb, Betty, Charlotte, Cassie, "M", and especially Debbie from Summa Home Hospice. Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2016 at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Family will receive friends from 11-1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Battered Women's Shelter of Akron.
