Charles R. Segner, Jr.

Charles R. Segner Jr. passed away on May 29, 2017. Born in Akron, OH November 7, 1944. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Segner; his parents, Elizabeth and Charles R. Segner Sr. He leaves behind his daughter Kimberly Marquardt of Westerville, OH; grandson, Derek Michael Marquardt of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; brother and sister in-law, John and Anita Segner of GA; brother in-law and sister in-law, Freddie and Regenia Smith of AL; niece, Laura and her husband Dan Elliot of MI; along with his church family at Redeemer Lutheran and many camping friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday June 2, 2017 from 10-11am with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald Charities in memory of Nancy Segner.
