Charles R. Jones, Jr.
Charles (Chuck) R. Jones, Jr., 51, departed this life on November 8, 2014 at his home in Akron. He was born in Flushing, NY on November 30, 1962 to the late Charles R. and Kathleen E. Jones. In addition to his parents, his wife, Amanda Marie Fowler-Jones preceded him in death on December 3, 2013.
Chuck was the beloved father of Isabella and Kyle who survive at home and half-brother, Tyler Andru-Fowler. Also surviving are a brother, Terry (Kaye) of Mabie, WV; nephew, Captain Paul Jones, US Air Force, stationed in Germany; along with several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Chuck was a loving father. His children were his life. Most of his time was spent being a devoted parent. He was a school volunteer and an avid sports fan who loved watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Cremation will be observed. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m.
