Charles Leo Icenhour born in Lenoir, NC on December 3, 1941 to Leo Gordon Icenhour and Claudia Pauline (Bradley).

Charles, Charlie, Ike, Dad, Pap, Chula. A man of his word, quiet, kind and a giving heart. He always put everyone else before himself. He loved Jesus with his whole heart and even through his final stages of dementia he would raise his hands in worship to the sweet hymns playing in his background. Though his words became jumbled God heard and understood his prayers.

Charles graduated from East High School and continued friendships into his 80’s.

Charlie married the love of his life Judith Ann Spradlin “Judy” in 1961. Loving her and caring for her for 54 years until she joined our Heavenly Father in 2015.

Ike retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 42 years of service. Teaching his family a work ethic to do your best, be dedicated, punctual and provide for your family. Dad provided all of our needs, allowing mom the privilege of staying home to care for us. He lead by example displaying unconditional love, forgiveness and grace.

Pap, Charlie, Chula was the greatest grandpa in our world. He loved being a part of anything going on, loved when everyone came to visit, loved having grandkids climb on his lap and just sit close to him.

Charle’s family that must wait here on earth a while longer before being together again in eternity are: son, Brian (Fran) Icenhour and family, Cheynoa, Cheyenne(Luke) Farmer, Navy, coming soon Jovi; daughter, Denise (Merv) Yoder and family, DeBerte’s: Shana, Clay (Anna), Nick (Traci) Nolan, Evelyn, Scott (Bobbi); Woodruffs: Alice (Geoff), Caroline, Julia, James; Yoder’s; Abby, Trenton, John, Chelsea, Sloane, Blair, Levi; Henges/Hunt: Kathy, Steve, John, Sophia.
