Charles Harris

Charles Harris, 89, of Akron, passed away on April 11, 2026.

He was born on April 4, 1937 to Joseph and Sarah Harris in Philipsburg, PA.

Charles worked as a Assembly Line Worker for Ford Motors Company in Walton Hills, OH retiring after 33 years.

On August 12, 1959, he married Donna Mae Dickson. To this union three daughters were born; Penny, Sherry, and Patty.

Charles enjoyed listening to Country music and working in his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his loving daughters, Penny (Steve) Smith, Sherry (Ralph) Shelton, and Patty (Ronnie) Henline; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jay), Ashley (Zach), Bryan, Brandon (Lydia), Stacey (Joe), and Brad (Abby); and great-grand daughters, Willow and Sophie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; and siblings, Joseph, Jr., Aliene, Betsy, and Harold.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Stoneville Cemetery in Clearfield, PA.
