Charles E. Demchock

Charles Edward Demchock "Charlie", 73, of Uniontown, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2016. Charlie was born on February 10, 1943 in Akron, Ohio; son of the late Andy and Cora Demchock. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 37 years of service and most recently he drove a school bus for 17 years for North Canton City Schools. Charlie was a die-hard Browns fan, who loved gardening and his pets. He touched a lot of lives and will be dearly missed.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara; children, Charles (Colleen) Demchock II, Michelle (Mark) McKee, Roger (Nicole) Demchock, and Carol (Adam) Demchock; siblings, Jim (Joy) Demchock and Mona (Dave) Reynolds; grandchildren, Renea, Michael (Veronika), Joseph, Samuel, Courtney, Crystal, and Isabella; great-granddaughter, Rhea, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Stark County, Stark Co. Dog Warden or the ASPCA.
