Chad M. Keefer

Chad M. Keefer, 50, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. He was born and raised in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Green High School in 1994.

Chad loved spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting or golfing. He loved the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Above all, he loved spending time with his kids and Chase, his “little man.”

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Robert Keefer; and grandparents, Phyllis and Robert Keefer, and Harold and Verla Sigler.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Chad Keefer, Chase Keefer, and Cadence Keefer (Tommy Kesterson); mother, Cindy (Ramsey) Mitchell; grandson, Chase “Little Man,” Keefer; and granddaughter (due in October), Alayna Grace Kesterson; brothers, Mike (Kimmy) Keefer and Jimmy (Angela) Keefer; mother-of-his-children, Heather Keefer; aunts, Debbie, Laura (Rory), Linda (Rusty), Julie, and Pam; uncle, Eric (and his mother, Vera); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday August 3, 2026 from 3pm until 6pm at Newcomer, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron. A memorial service will take place at 6pm.
