Cecil W. Farmer I
Cecil W. Farmer I, 71, of Rittman, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2014. He was born in Lebanon, KY on September 18, 1943 to the late Leon and Melcena Farmer. Cecil retired from Goodyear Aerospace after over 20 years of service. He was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for 40 years. Cecil loved all things aeronautics, reading, writing, and watching Westerns.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara; children, Pastor Cecil Farmer II (Melissa), Rev. Brian Farmer (Cheryl), Kelli Miller (John), and Justin Farmer; grandchildren, Andrew, Luke, Rebekah, Connor, Regan, Olivia, Owen, and Olexa; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, 3819 Johnson Rd., Norton, OH 44203 where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with his sons officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa.
