Catherine F. Sykes, 90, of Akron, passed away September 5, 2014. She was born in Manhattan, New York on August 26, 1924. Cat was dearly loved by her friends and neighbors whom she adopted as family. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, in Akron on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron.
