Carolyn Faye Watson I

Carolyn Faye Watson I was born to the late parents of Eralee Benford and Shoat Brown. God called Faye home on May 27, 2026. Faye was born in Athens, AL and became a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio at the age of 12.

Faye has worked various jobs throughout her life. She had a great passion of spending time with her family and friends. Faye was very loved by so many people, she had always been a family oriented person. Faye loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved all of them equally. She was always very excited to be around them as well. Everyone who knew Faye most definitely can share a very funny story about her. She will be truly missed by so many people.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband Tyrone Watson, parents Eralee Benford and Shoat Brown, brother Benny Benford, daughter Erica Watson and granddaughter Shawntai Davis.

She leaves her cherished memories to her children Bridgette Harris, Tyrone Benford, LaDan Watson and Carolyn Watson Blackburn; her sisters Gladys Oyeleese and Queeniemae Benford; her brothers Luboff Brown, Armston Benford and Ollie (Lena) McWilliams; her grandchildren Stevasia and Stephaun Deem, Antwan Watson Sr., Dawnyale Broaddus, Ebony, DaEric, Eric Benford Sr., Vethany and Sergio Watson, Tai Timmons II, Samiah Padila, Anthony Benford, and LaDon "Don-Don" Watson; great-grandchildren Dayton Veal, Alonah Anderson, Jayleesia Hooks, Aiden, Antwan Watson Jr., Leyonna Gray, Millian Pettiford, Kahleya Elmore, Lamar, Ivory, JaViere, Sincere, Jamiere, Arieauna, Mariah, Ciara, Eniya, Aliya, Eric Benford Jr., Michael Crockett III, Kingston Williams, Samuel and Nova, Arius Lee, Dior, Tai Timmons III, and Tyonna; great-great-grandchildren Aniya and Ariyah Nurse, Travelle Brooks, and Azir Crockett.
