Carolyn Taylor

Carolyn A. Taylor, 91, of Akron, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Carolyn was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on July 20, 1923 to the late Walter and Blanche Echard. She was a member of Springfield Community Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo and sister Roberta Cline. She is survived by daughter, Carol Lee Standel; grandson, Dustin Standel; sister, Hazel Hosey and brother, Allen Echard. Family and friends may call on, Friday, May 1, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00am with Pastor O. Homer Burket officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
