Carol Ann Allshouse

Carol Ann Allshouse, 74, of Barberton, passed away at home on January 31, 2018. She was born in Rochester, Indiana on July 1, 1943 to the late Dean and Ruth Zartman.
Carol was "Grandma" to all the kids in the neighborhood. She loved bowling, reading, and watching NBA games. She enjoyed playing cards, especially canasta. In the spring, she could always be found planting flowers outdoors. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Allshouse; grandson, Justin Harrison; parents-in-law, Charles and Betty Allshouse; and brother-in-law, Terry Allshouse. She will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Jesse Goodson; sister, Phyllis (Bob) Calhoun; brother, Ernie (Lorna) Zartman; grandchildren, Tyler Goodson and Haley Goodson; and lifelong family friends, the Burtons.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Carol's life on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summa Home Hospice, 525 East Market St., Akron, OH 44304.
