Carletta Hornsby, 46, of Akron, passed away August 13, 2014. Carletta was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 7, 1968. She was a member of Army Navy Garrison #102. Carletta was preceded in by her father Carl Wood. She is survived by daughter, Emma Hornsby , John Hornsby and many other family and friends that loved her. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where a celebration of life will follow at 7pm.
