Carl P. Stair, 85, passed away after a long battle with congestive heart failure.
Carl was a member of 2 Masonic Lodges, Joppa of Akron and Hoover of Canton, for 60 years.
Preceded in death by sons, Allen and Phillip; daughter, Barbara; and brothers, Donald and Danny. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Lou; daughter, Deborah Bain; son, David; grandchildren, Daniel Stair and Skyler Bain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
