Cork, a devoted husband and father, left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Cork's career found him traversing the United States, installing cable and telecommunications equipment. His professional life mirrored his personal ethos: straightforward and true, he told it like it was, never shying away from honesty and sincerity. Those who had the pleasure of working alongside him admired his dedication and the warmth he exuded, making even the toughest job seem lighter.

A graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School Class of 1976, Cork embraced life with gusto, indulging in hobbies that filled his heart with joy. Whether he was playing darts, engaging in spirited card games, or diving into the world of gaming, Cork derived immense satisfaction from friendships and competition. And amid laughter and gameplay, the soothing strains of country music filled the air, coming from the jukebox that was a testament to his musical taste and love for simplicity.

Family was central to Cork’s existence. He was the beloved husband of Kathy for 48 years; together they created a haven of laughter, love, and unparalleled companionship. He always called Kathy his best nurse ever. His pride in his children, Todd and Shawn (Sabrina), was evident to all who witnessed their bond. His brothers, Ric (Barbara), Steve (Dianne) and Billy (Sharon) Corbin, alongside a wide circle of siblings-in-law – Mike (Sue) Frederick, Debbie (Bob) Cole, Janet Knisely, and Scott (Chris) Frederick – painted a picture of a family bond rich with connection, support, and affection. The laughter of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends often surrounded Cork, whose kindhearted spirit made him a pillar of love and strength for all.

At home, Cork found companionship in his beloved pets, Sylvia, the cat who brought him quiet moments of joy, and Sophie, his dog, whose playful antics never failed to bring a smile to Cork’s face. A testament to missing presence, both animals embody the warmth and love that filled Cork's life.

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marlene Bennett, along with his sister-in-law, Donna Adam, and brother-in-law, Mike Knisely, Cork’s legacy of love is held tightly by those who remain. Each shared memory, every story of his candid nature and bright humor will linger on, a poignant reminder of a man who embraced life fully and touched the hearts of many.
