Brock Sedric Ervin

Brock Sedric Ervin, 25, beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend joined his father Jason in Heaven on October 3, 2026. He was born in Akron on February 3, 2001 to Jacquelyn Bowling and the late Jason Lee Ervin.

In addition to his father, Brock was preceded in death by his grandpa Frank Bowling and uncle Vince Burns.

Brock's memory will live on in his family, including his mom, Jackie; sisters Kara (Jason) Shriver and Skyler Ervin; grandmas Penny Smith and Christine Maxwell; aunt Melissa (Eric) Ritter; uncles Brian Revis and Ron Ervin; nieces and nephews Liberty, Lillian, Leo, Lyric, Levi and Elaina; cousins Austin, Brooke, Anthony, Haley, Alexis, Jordyn, Darian, Garrett and their families.

Brock loved to be outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. He was passionate about music, which is a bond he, Skyler and Kara shared with their dad, Jason. Brock also enjoyed watching Nascar and football (especially the Browns and Buckeyes) and drinking a cold beer.

Brock had a heart of gold, and he would give the shirt off of his back to someone in need. Brock's last gift as he left this Earth was to donate everything he could to give the gift of life to others.

He loved being an uncle, and his nieces and nephews meant everything to him. Brock's family will miss him terribly, but are comforted by the thought that he and his dad are together again.
