Brittney Michele Williams

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Brittney Williams, who left this world far too soon on July 1, 2025, at the age of 38.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, spending her childhood in Green Bay, and later making her home in Akron, OH, Brittney was a free spirit whose laughter could light up any room. She had a gentle heart and an unwavering kindness that made everyone around her feel valued and loved. Brittney's warmth, positive attitude, and constant desire to improve herself were what kept her going, driven by her deep desire to be better for her children, through life’s challenges.

Brittney is lovingly remembered by her brother, Alex Williams; her sons, Max Verboncouer, Preston Franklin and Pierre Schaffer; and her fiancé, Donnie Schaffer. She is also lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles, Cindy & Rick Johnson, Mark & Julie Kasper, Mary & Dale Anderson and Sheri & Mark Hank; her grandmother, Mary Kasper; along with her cousins, Chad, Ashley, Alyssa, Taylor, Sam, John, Brad and Bryan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Michele Williams; her brother, Preston Pearson; and her grandfather, Richard Kasper.

Brittney will be deeply missed by many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Brittney was truly grateful to those who lovingly cared for her children.

A private service will be held for close family and friends.

May she find peace, and may her memory live in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be loved, cherished and missed - always.
