Brian Alan Taylor

Brian Alan Taylor, 38, of Akron, passed away on May 25, 2025, escorted by his beloved grandfather Richard. Brian was born in Barberton, Ohio on September 3, 1986.

Brian graduated from North High School in 2007. Brian was passionate about sports. As a child he played baseball on The Challenger's League at the Field of Dreams in Cuyahoga Falls. He loved being coached by his dad, grandpa, and uncle.

Brian's hobbies included playing basketball, watching movies on his DVD player, and playing games on his tablet. Some of his favorite shows were WWE, Barney, and SpongeBob.

Brian was a fun, loving, Barney obsessed, DVD player on repeat with his favorite movies, amazing young man. Brian has always been a little boy in our eyes and that will forever remain. Brian has touched so many lives in so many ways over his years and will never be forgotten.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard (Betty) Lambes; grandma June Cool; grandpa William Gump; uncles Jason Wadsworth and Daniel Boles; and aunt Janice Dwyer.

Brian will be dearly missed by his parents, Donna and Randall Sandy; sisters, Jen McElwain, Stephanie (Joe) Jenkins, Brittany (Paul) Pasquinelli, Brooklyn Sandy; brother Jeremiah Taylor; nephews Jonah, Max, Logan, Bryson, Levi; and niece Livia. Brian also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 5, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm immediately followed by a 3pm memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, 44305. Following services family and friends will celebrate Brian's life at Uniontown Fire Department 13055 Oakwood Ave NW, Uniontown, OH, 44685 from 430pm until 730pm.
