Brian K. Epling

April 18, 1969 — June 28, 2024

Brian K Epling, 55, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, with his parents, Ivan and Gayle, at his side. He is sadly missed by his parents, Ivan and Gayle; brothers Joe (Lucy) Epling, Larry (Joan) Saltis, and Heath (Dorothy) Saltis; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date.

Brian overcame lots of challenges in his life, more than we dare talk about. Through all of them he showed faith and survived for others to know that it was through Christ that he was still here. To the world he might not have appeared perfect, but in fact, Brian was perfect! He became a vibrant personality who brought light and joy to everyone and everywhere he went. People loved to see him at work, at school, at home. Brian never worried, had little anxiety and he wanted to go, go, go! He loved to shop, eat out, take trips and would do it 24 hours a day. He loved to spend money, loved to fish, and loved going to the family cabin. Brian loved his Meadowwood Group Home in Massillon where he lived for 24 years with his 3 buddies, because he wanted to be like his brothers and have his own place. He loved family gatherings and celebrations, but was always ready to go to his place.

Charles Spurgeon, Pastor and writer, wrote: “Fear not, little flock, it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Thus, strengthened and consoled, the believer is not afraid to die.”

Amen and Halleluia to a life well lived!
