Brenda Joyce Teeple

Brenda Joyce Teeple, age 81, of Akron, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on May 24, 2025. Born and raised in Akron, Brenda graduated from Central High School and remained a proud resident of the city throughout her life.

She was known for her vibrant spirit and her love of bringing people together. Whether is was a summer cookout, a Halloween party, or an impromptu gathering, Brenda had a gift for making others feel welcome and ensuring everyone had a good time.

Brenda found joy in dancing, entertaining and creating special memories with her friends and family. Her laughter was contagious and her zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and she will be remembered for her warmth, generosity and unwavering ability to make life a celebration.

Brenda is survived by her children, Christy and Eric; siblings, Joe Chiaramonte and Jerry Morrison; 32 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, including Dantonio Harmel, whom she shared a very special bond with; as well as many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donn; daughter, Tina Harmel; and sisters, Anita Yohe and Donna Stefanov.

Family and friends are invited to Brenda's Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2pm at The Mogadore Moose #1082 (4095 Mogadore Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260).
