Brenda McKinney, 51, passed away March 19, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Her passion in life was reading.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Richard; parents, Buck and Diane McConnell; brother, Brett McConnell; step-children, Eric McKinney, and Kristen (Keith) Roth; and grandchildren, Kyle, Kaiden, and Konnor. She fought the good fight, she ran the race.
Now that her pain and suffering is over, she can walk with her "kids", Alf, Murphy, Ben, A.J., Lacy, Lucy, Cody, Asta, and Dog Wee.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 20, from 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be held Wednesday, March 21, at 11 am.
