Bonnie Sue Treesh, 64, of Cuyahoga Falls, was called home by Jesus on November 2, 2014. She was born in Cumberland, Maryland on December 3, 1949 to the late Albert and Audrey Arnold. Bonnie was a longtime member of His Ministry in Aurora, Ohio, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 35 years and as church treasurer.
Bonnie will be deeply missed by her husband of 44 years, Wil Treesh; son, Mike Treesh; sister, Judy (Ian) Wickrum; brother, Ken (Linda) Arnold; nieces, Lori (Brian) Durst and Kathy Arnold; many other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staffs at Heather Knoll and Hospice of Summa for the excellent and compassionate care given to Bonnie and her family during her illness.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 4-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Jim Atkins officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Bonnie will be laid to rest on Thursday at 11:15 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family and friends should meet at the cemetery gates at 11:00 a.m.
