Bonnie Gail Graham-Bromall, 69, passed peacefully on August 12, 2026, with family by her side. She fought a courageous and determined battle against cancer for nearly two years, never giving up hope for a cure. Bonnie was born in Akron, Ohio, on October 24, 1956, to Charles W. and Anna M. Graham, their beloved only daughter. She was a graduate of Ellet High School in 1976 and lived her entire life in Akron.
Bonnie married Paul Bromall on April 3, 1979, and together they raised two sons. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home, riding their Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and attending concerts. She was proud of her family’s heritage and embraced their southern lifestyle and cooking. Her maternal Grandmother, Mary E. Jean, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, taught Bonnie how to sew at a young age and she crafted many of her own clothes throughout her life. She was also a lifelong lover of pets having had many cats, dogs, and even some ducks.
Bonnie is survived by her devoted companion Don Pacek, children Paul Bromall and Charles (Kayla) Bromall, brothers Roger (Ladmarie) Graham and Duane (Lydia) Graham, grandchildren Ravenna and Quinn Bromall, and many loving cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and infant grandson Liam Bromall.
A celebration of life will be held August 20, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305. Visitation will be between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. followed by a memorial service and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Bonnie’s memory can be made to the Justin T.
