Beverly Davis

Beverly (Campbell) Davis, of Akron, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on May 12, 2026 at the age of 82 at the Copley Health Center in Copley, Ohio.

Beverly grew up in a home full of siblings, stories, and strength.  She was the last surviving child of the Campbell family.  Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Milton J. Campbell Sr. and Minnie Ruth (Solomon) Campbell; brothers, Ronald, Sherwood, Donald, Milton Jr., and Kelsey Campbell; sisters, Juanita Williams, Mary Ann Bickley, Barbara Jean Cherry-Vandergiff, and Ruth Campbell; sons, Antonio "Tone Tone" Spragling and Terrance Spragling; and her late husband, Jessie Davis.

Beverly was a mother whose love was steady, fierce, and unforgettable.  She raised five children who were the center of her world.  Her greatest joy also came from being a grandmother.  She spoiled them, protected them, bragged about them, and loved them with a tenderness that will echo through generations. She leaves to cherish her beloved memory her son, Willie Campbell; daughters, Tina (Randy) Scott, and Tammy Richardson; grandchildren, Tierra Spragling, Preston Spragling, Lanitra Hale, Damica Campbell, Dominic, Warren Byrd, Paige Garett, Trevon Spragling, McKayla Richardson, Trenitra Spragling, and Antonio Spragling Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Beverly lived a life defined by resilience.  She faced loss, hardship, and challenges but she faced them with grace, humor, and a strength that inspired everyone around her.  She was the kind of woman who would give anyone the shirt off her back, who showed up when it mattered, and who loved without conditions.  Her family honors her with full hearts, grateful for her life, her lessons, and the love she poured into every one of them.  She leaves behind a legacy that will never fade.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 12:00 pm with visitation for one hour prior at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1350 Virginia Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306.
