Betty L. Peters

Betty L. Peters, 76, of Tallmadge, passed away June 19, 2014. She was born in Birch River, West Virginia on July 22, 1937 to the late Earl and Ressie Barnett. Betty worked tirelessly throughout her adult life to care for her family. She relished in her homemaking duties which have forever enriched the lives of her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by Brothers; Don, Ralph and Larry, and Sister, Genevieve. She is survived by Husband of nearly 50 years, Glen E. Peters, Son, Glen W. Peters, Daughter, Lorie Peters, Granddaughter, Amanda Peters, Grandson, Don Peters, Brother, Dan, and Sisters; Esta, Viola, Ida Mae and Lulabelle; many Nieces and Nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305 where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Final resting place will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
