Betty Jean Likovetz

Betty Jean Likovetz, 66, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2016. Betty was born in Washington DC on October 18, 1949 to the late Peter and Willa Hancock. Betty was a member of FallsCreek Community Church where she taught Sunday School for 37 years. She worked at First Merit Bank for 24 years before retiring to be a full time Nana.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Thomas Likovetz; children, Sharon (Aaron) Barnhart, Michael (Sarah) Likovetz, Gregory (Tammy) Likovetz, and Steven (Tina) Likovetz; sister, Helen (Alan) Heckert; brothers, Peter W. (Clair) Hancock, VII, and William (Laura) Hancock, and 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 6-9 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Friends may also call on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am at FallsCreek Community Church, 149 Northmoreland Ave., Munroe Falls, OH 44262 with Dr. Michael Thomas officiating.
