Betty Jane Watson
Betty Jane Watson, 79, of Akron, passed away August 18, 2014. She was born April 27, 1935 in Shadyside, OH to the late Newell and Elizabeth Lovejoy. Betty Jane devoted her life to her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred L. Watson; and brothers, Robert, John, and William Lovejoy. She is survived by her children, David Watson and Brenda Andrews; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summa Foundation Palliative Care, 55 Arch St, Akron, OH 44304.
