Betty J. Pulliam
Betty J. Pulliam, 85, of Norton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 17, 2013. She was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on April 12, 1928 to the late Charles and Anna Rider.
Betty will always be remembered as a hard working, dedicated woman. Over the years she worked for Scott's Five and Ten, Woolworth's, and Mary's Ice Cream Stand. She was sweet and loving to everyone she knew and will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin; and siblings, Lillian, Charles, Howard, Pete. Mildred, and Geneva. She is survived by her children, Nancy Lemon, Leonard Hoffman, Lynn (Bob) Harper, Wayne (Tracie) Hoffman, and Allen (Kerri) Pulliam; sister, Dolly Hoadley; nineteen grandchildren; and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be TODAY Friday, December 20 from 5-7 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
