Betty J. Hershberger, 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Betty was born on March 6, 1926 in Canton, Ohio. She enjoyed lending a helping hand while in the Sarah Adult Day Care Center for many years. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Eli and her son, William.
She is survived by her children, John ; Harold , Ben (Linda) , Eli ; family friend Mellisa; a host of grandchildren, great grandchilden and friends who will miss Betty dearly.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will follow. Interment will take place at Grandview
