Betty J. Hartz
DOB 4-5-39
DOD 7-29-24
Parents Henry & Elizabeth {Hilgert} Letz
Predeceased by parents Henry & Elizabeth, brother and sister-in-law James and Michelle Letz.
Betty will be forever missed by her partner of 40 years Blane Frye, life long friend and chosen sister Jean Frost and her family Jeanne (Chris), Ken, Kim (Nick), Helen (Dennis) and their children Sara, Denny, Jeff, Mandy, Ron, Brittany, Rylee, Emilee, Eli, Dakota, Vincent, Nevaeh, Jasper and Zoey. Betty always brought love to our family!
Betty enjoyed spending time with her many cousins from the Hilgert side of her family. The stories of their corn harvests were legendary.
Betty cherished her many friends from her days working at both Crano and Duer Cosntruction, years of volunteering with W. I. C. (Women in Construction), fishing, bowling leagues and card nights.
She was a proud graduate of Purdue with an accounting degree at a time when few women had the opportunity for higher education.
Betty was a strong woman who fiercely loved those in her circle and she will be missed. Thanks for teaching us to dance to Wooly Bully.
