Beth Anne Simich, 62, of Tallmadge, passed away on June 26, 2026. She was born on November 30, 1963 to Thomas and Martha Simich and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1981 where she was a member of the Devilette dance team. She was also a figure skater in her youth. Beth went on to earn a degree from the University of Akron and spent her career in banking and financial services.
Beth will always be remembered for her big heart and her independent spirit. She had a soft spot for animals and was an advocate for rescue organizations. Pit bulls were her favorite breed, and she took in many rescue dogs throughout her life.
Beth also had a passion for music. Heavy metal was her favorite genre, but she could get lost in all types of music. She described it best in a social media post from 2018: "Dancing like no one is watching! Love the free spirit. I like the Eurythmics but I would be best seen dancing to Iron Maiden, Evergrey, or Deep Purple or UFO or Judas Priest...Oh, wait...I have been seen "dancing" to all of them."
Beth will be dearly missed by her parents, Tom and Martha Simich; siblings, Kyle Simich of Ellet, Lynn (Chuck Page) Diurba of Omaha, Regina (Bill) Angel of Cincinnati, and Stephanie (Paul) Tyson of Bowling Green; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, near and far.
Beth's family will privately lay her to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in honor of Beth to Adopt A Pit Rescue or Make A Difference/One of A Kind Pet Rescue.
