Bessie L. Belknap., 81, passed away August 22, 2016.Born in Gassaway WV. She was a member of the Goodyear Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James A. Belknap of Akron, Ohio.
She is survived by her seven children, Linda (JD) Holland of Clinton, Indiana, Elizabeth McDaniel of Cuyahoga Falls, Tammy Lou Belknap of Lynchburg, VA., Helen (Jerry) Iskow of Akron, Lawrence "Larry" Belknap, James II (Alicia) Belknap, both of Akron, and L.B. Belknap of Clearwater, Florida; also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Brady of San Antonio, Texas.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Goodyear Hts. Baptist Church, 1767 Goodyear Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44305 where Pastor D. Edward Witchey will celebrate Bessie's life.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.
